About Sedona Jeep Rentals

Sedona Jeep Rentals is owned and operated by Barlow Adventures LLC of Arizona. Barlow Adventures offers Jeep Rentals, guided trips, and 4WD instruction in Arizona, Moab Utah, and on California’s famous Rubicon Trail. Each staff member is knowledgeable about the area, and can help you plan your trip to maximize your time and fun. And we know Jeeps!

Owner Nena Barlow is an International 4WD Trainer Association Master Trainer. Nena grew up in the Southwest, exploring the back roads by Jeep, horse, and hiking boots. She has been in the Jeep business since 1996, providing tours, 4wd instruction, location scouting, offroad event planning, trail mapping & photography, and recovery. Nena has logged thousands of hours in the backcountry behind the wheel of a Jeep, with additional off-road experience in Hummers, Unimogs, Fords, Toyotas, and Nissans. She says, “The most important things about four-wheeling are to let the vehicle do the work—don’t overdrive it; and never take any trail for granted—go slow, pay attention, and never be ashamed to turn around and go home.”

All of the staff at Sedona Jeep Rentals are passionate about what they do. We specialize in helping visitors find the right trails and instructing them how to use the Jeep easily and safely wherever they choose to go. We are available to help or answer questions every step of the way and love to hear about your adventures when you return. And don’t forget to send us your pictures!

Safe and responsible recreation on pubic lands is the heart of our business.

Barlow Adventures and Sedona Jeep Rentals are committed to responsible and sustainable recreation on our public lands. We recognize that Sedona’s back roads and Jeep trails traverse fragile desert landscapes, providing public access to areas of irreplaceable natural beauty, wildlife habitat, and places of unique historical and cultural significance. In addition, these roads and trails are often accessed via historically quiet residential neighborhoods and ranch lands.

Sedona has a large volume of visitation without the funding to manage public lands effectively for protection and infrastructure. The result is that many of these treasured areas are becoming damaged by overuse and threatened with possible future closure. At Barlow Adventures and Sedona Jeep Rentals, we are committed to the sustainable and long-term health and access to these public lands, but we need the help of guests like you that will respect and value this one-of-a-kind place as much as we do.
